Terms of Use

Effective October 24, 2026

These terms are an agreement between you and Darren Tran ("we", "us") for the Roomlike iOS app and this website. By using Roomlike you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use it.

The service

Roomlike lets you photograph a room, swipe through redesigns of it, save the ones you like, and shop similar products. Our Privacy Policy explains how your data is handled.

Who can use it

You must be at least 13 and able to form a binding contract where you live. You sign in with Apple and are responsible for activity on your account.

Your license to use Roomlike

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the app on Apple devices you own or control, under Apple's Media Services Terms and these terms. Don't copy, reverse engineer, resell or scrape the service, or interfere with how it works.

Acceptable use

Don't upload anything unlawful, anything you lack the right to use, photos that show other people without their permission, or sexual, violent or exploitative content. Don't try to get around limits or safety checks, abuse the service, or use it to harm others. We may refuse or remove content that breaks these rules.

Your photos and content

You keep ownership of the photos you upload. To run Roomlike you give us a limited, worldwide, non-exclusive license to store, process, resize and display your photos and the designs made from them, and to send them to the service providers named in the Privacy Policy, only to provide the service to you. We do not use your photos or designs to train AI models. If you create a share link, anyone with the link can view that design until you revoke it. If you invite a partner, they can see the household's rooms, designs and boards. You promise you have the right to upload your photos and to grant this license.

Generated designs are concept images

Designs are produced by third-party AI image models. They are concept images for inspiration: they may not match your room exactly, may contain errors, and are not professional design, architecture, construction or safety advice. Products shown beside a design are similar items from retailers, not the exact objects in the image, and may differ in size, color, price and availability. Check dimensions and details with the retailer before you buy. You may use the designs for personal purposes. Generated images may not be eligible for copyright protection.

Purchases

Design sets are consumable in-app purchases made through the App Store. Your first redesign is free; sets unlock further designs for a room, at the price shown in the App Store before you confirm. There is no subscription and nothing renews. Apple handles payment and billing, and refunds are decided by Apple under its policies, not by us; to request one, visit reportaproblem.apple.com. If you have trouble with a purchase, contact support@roomlike.app. Sets are tied to your account and cannot be transferred.

Shop links

Roomlike links to third-party retailers. They set their own prices, stock and terms, and we aren't responsible for what you buy from them. Some links are affiliate links; see the Affiliate Disclosure.

Ending your account

You can stop using Roomlike or delete your account in the app at any time (Profile, settings gear, Delete Account). This removes your account, rooms, photos and designs, and we do not refund unused purchases ourselves; Apple decides refunds. We may suspend or end access if you break these terms or misuse the service. Sections that by their nature should continue after termination, including the disclaimer, the limit of liability and governing law, will continue.

Disclaimer

Roomlike is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We don't promise that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that designs or products will meet your needs.

Limit of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data or goodwill. Our total liability for any claim relating to Roomlike is limited to the greater of the amount you paid for Roomlike through the App Store in the 12 months before the claim or US $50. Some places don't allow these limits, so they may not apply to you. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Apple

These terms are between you and us, not Apple. Apple has no obligation to provide support for the app. If the app fails to conform to a warranty, you may tell Apple, and Apple may refund the purchase price as its policies allow. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them against you.

Changes

We may update these terms. We'll change the effective date above and, for material changes, tell you in the app. Continuing to use Roomlike after a change means you accept it.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas and applicable US federal law, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, and courts located in that state will hear disputes, except where your local consumer law says otherwise.
